When you look for a leader, do you look for someone who can not admit a mistake? Or learn from it? Or teach others how not to make the same mistake? Have you worked for or with someone like that? Did you enjoy it? 

The best supervisors know that they don't know everything and are acutely aware of their own personal weaknesses. They know and work on them and can comfortably talk about them with other department. Too many supervisors can not even express what their weaknesses are much less work on them and implement behavioral changes.

When the chips are on the table what is the number one consideration in any economic development plan? Is it important whether it is an organization, city, state, nation or multi-nation opportunity? You can have everything else - but without people can it succeed? So why have a strategy and a plan for everything but people? 

People are the cornerstone of any economic development plan. Without people who can do the work, an organization that will support them and other stakeholders who will work with the organization - any economic development plan might fail.
