Measure and Align!
After the Human Capital Strategies, Plans and Tactics are agreed upon the implemented – it will be clear that some things are simply not working. Other things are not working well and others are doing better then expected. At that point, we need to measure and align what we are doing.
This is classic management: Why are things not working? What resources are missing? What presumptions have been made that are not true or only partially true? How can we make it better? What options do we have? How much are we spending? Who is not on board? Ad nauseum….
As you make your Strategies and Plans better the world will keep turning. Therefore, you will routinely have to go back to your sources and determine if anything has changed.
