How HR can be a Profit center
It is one thing to make something better
It is something else to MAINTAIN the GAIN!!
So how do you MAINTAIN the GAIN?
It must be:
Reading a book can start the process of changing a mindset
However, the new thought process must result in
changed BEHAVIOR and ACTION - which is the hardest part
Most people in HR have a Compliance - Transactional mindset:
1. They see themselves as "Employee Advocates"
Most HR professionals do not know what a profit formula is
You know your company's profit formula forwards and backwards
Where the opportunities are and when a line item is 1% off
The manager of the greatest asset should:
You are making progress in all areas of your company
Except your "Greatest Asset" - the same old problems persist
